General and wellness

Hormones, periods and fertility
For irregular periods, acne or unwanted hair growth. Laser hair removal for PCOS and hirsutism is available in the same clinic. Cycle hormones (LH, FSH), male-type hormones (testosterone, SHBG), ovarian reserve (AMH), an adrenal hormone check (17-OHP) and metabolic markers.

Each women's blood test has one fixed, all-inclusive price, listed on this page. The AMH test is £149, the General Health and Wellness Blood Test is £338, and the perimenopause and menopause blood tests are £338, £538 or £638 depending on the tier. The price covers your appointment, the blood draw, laboratory analysis and a doctor's review, with no separate phlebotomy, admin or booking fee.

For cycle hormones (FSH, LH and oestradiol), days 2 to 5 of your cycle are most informative. The progesterone marker in the Amenorrhoea and Fertility blood test is taken around 7 days before your next period is due. If your cycle is irregular or absent, the doctor will guide you on timing at booking. AMH, thyroid and the general health markers are stable across the cycle, so they can be taken on any day.
It depends on the blood test. The General Health and Wellness Blood Test includes glucose, so we recommend fasting for 10 to 12 hours beforehand, water only. For the Iron, Anaemia and Fatigue blood test, fasting is not essential but a morning appointment is preferred. Stop biotin supplements 48 to 72 hours before, as biotin can interfere with thyroid and other results, and keep taking prescribed medication unless your doctor tells you otherwise.
