Autism Spectrum Disorder is a lifelong neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a person communicates, interacts, and perceives the world. It is not an illness or disease, but rather a different way in which the brain functions and processes information.
Some children may develop typically in early years and later experience changes in social or communication skills.
While there is no cure, early diagnosis and intervention have been shown to significantly improve long-term outcomes.
We specialise in diagnosing children aged 2–16 years. Our assessments follow NICE and Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health guidelines and include:
ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised)
ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
Sensory Processing Assessment
Comprehensive Medical History
Parent and School Questionnaires (AQ / CAST / ASQ / ASRS)
School Information Reports
